Optimal Reels Upload Specs
Recommended specs for Instagram Reels are:
- Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (Full vertical screen)
- Resolution: 1080 x 1920 pixels. (Even 4K uploads are compressed to 1080p on mobile. Excessive quality just increases upload time.)
- Frame Rate: 30fps or 60fps. 60fps is recommended for smooth motion.
- Format: MP4 or MOV. (H.264 codec recommended)
Enable 'Upload at Highest Quality'
Many miss this. Even with a great source, if this is off, Instagram lowers quality to save data.
